  1. How does she explain the brain being able to function 30 minutes after it has died with not a drop of blood flowing through it. These halucinations she asserts are causing the NDE are impossible without brain function.

  2. @miriamEnglish Oxymoron is when Dennett argues about free will, for which he has a soft spot, but there is no free will in deterministic materialism, no reason, no objective truths for a-priory stance form where you even argue about what is true or not. See Kant's Critique of pure Reason. Tautology is when Blackmore argue that Christianity is a meme, along with ever other "folk psychology"(Churchland) belief, but it somehow magically excepts their own atheistic word-view. How silly.

  3. @miriamEnglish I believe in structural monism, not dualism. But in information and consciousness as the basis of reality, and material word above the Plank scale and Newtonian physical world as a derivative. Do you even read the latest paper form theoretical physics? Do you even know what are the implications of proven Holographic principle on materialism? As for my beliefs, i am Platonist-Agnostic, but i'm very sympathetic to cultural Christianity, a worldview similar to Paul Davies.

  4. @miriamEnglish It's mind-boggling to read your ad-hominems that have nothing with what i'v said. Where are your refutations or original arguments? Penrose's ORCH-OR deals with Free will and consciousness from the non-computable (Halting problem) influences embedded at the fundamentals of space-time geometry at the Plank Scale; as Platonic information; representing pure mathematical truths, esthetic and ethical values, which cant be formalized with Hilbert's program or any materialistic TOE.

  5. @miriamEnglish I have to say you are a very poor debater. You're only arguments are ad-hominems. Calling Penrose non-scientist? God Lord, the man is firstly mathematical physicist, then mathematician and philosopher awarded with Wolf Prize (1988), Eddington Medal, Dirac Medal and Prize, Albert Einstein Medal, Naylor Prize,DeMorgan Medal and also was knighted for services to science. Even heard for twistor theory, cosmic censorship hypothesis, Weyl curvature hypothesis, spin networks or ORCH-or?

  6. @miriamEnglish Godel's incompleteness theorem has been reworked on top of Turing's Halting problem by Gregory Chaitin, and he buried deterministic/algorithmic/materialistic/positivist worldview deep down into irrelevance. There is nobody who is greater authority over him in this field. Positivism is dead, deal with it. We need a new paradigm shift.

No, shes full of shit. Real credible experts like Roger Penrose, David Chalmers and Angus Menuge debunked her bs long time ago. Look at Godel's incompletness theorem and Turing's Halting Problem to get enlightened.
