13. _ The common human mind/thought is the result of millenia of conditiioning. Thought is limited and when it is fixed and unyielding it is called belief. A particular grouping of conditioned thought manifests as ego, personhood – the false identity. Who or what we are, shall we say as awareness, is beyond the scope and comprehension of thought/mind. We are aware of the activity of thought and the so-called objective world which is merely a projection of thought.
    _ What one is, is not comprehensible nor definable by thought because the finite (mind/thought) cannot comprehend the infinite or the ineffable. In eastern cultures it is sometimes referred to as Self or the higher-self. But this is just a mental concept. Our BEINGness is in essence of non-dual nature (ONE-only, NOT TWO [Advaita]). Similar to Jesus' statement "I and my Father are ONE" – which he taught to his followers but they failed to grasp it in actual experiencing.
    _ From this he pointed out that you are also "one with the Father" but fail to know and experience it because of the veil of conditioned thinking (faulty conceptualizing and relying on thought a source of knowledge). Thought is a wonderful tool that we can learn to use most powerfully, however, we have instead chosen to become enslaved to the whims of thought and simply react according to societal conditioning (beliefs, etc.). The human world is a projection, an illusion in which various experiencing occurs (perhaps it can be thought of as a training ground or spiritual schooling) .
    _ We are not the body nor the mind (which are part of the illusion and therefore do not exist anyhow – I understand this is very difficult for most of you to grasp but it is the essence of all spiritual teaching).
    _ As Pere Pierre Teillhard de Chardin, the renowned monk-priest-paleontologist and geologist and author put it in the last century in his work "The Phenomenon of Man":

26. i feel bad for you Howard. Russell Brand is nothing short of a genius who is on the cusp of being a more influential figure than Oprah Winfrey. Don't hate on him because your tiny brain has no vocabulary! Buy a thesaurus and then perhaps you can enjoy his interviews because when he is on a serious topic, everything he says is gospel! Most of the U.S won't warm to him because they're all brainwashed, patriot robots that short circuit when someone criticizes their government. That's why the world is going down the toilet! Every western nation is following the " superpowers" lead and society is eroding from the inside out. Unless of course, you're rich!
