1. Maybe it's an undead Summer Rose grimmified by Salem and Watts experiments. OooOoooohHhhh

   I mean seriously, look at the cape.
   Sure in the smoke it's grey but look at it in the light. It's white, who else has a white cape? Summer.
   (I know it's crackpot right now but it's a possibility)

2. The artwork is beautiful but I hope this volume isn't going to be centered around Ozcar, honestly I never found him/them interesting, they blew their chance to make Oz a villain with that whole Raven vs Oz ordeal or at least a control freak "good" guy and the team hasn't been together all but one scene. I'm going to keep my hopes up and pray to the anime gods that this shit is good.

3. I kinda like the design because if you follow from the Grimm's eyesight downwards through the characters from Salem spiralling around to Oscar, it makes a 6. Loved your analysis and thoughts on the symbolism; makes me very excited for volume 6 ^^

   Here's some thoughts I had: I think it's not smoke but rather fog/mist, and represents things being hidden or kept secret that will be coming to light in volume 6 (such as Ozpin's moral ambiguity). I also think Weiss will be integral in helping Blake integrate back into Team RWBY because she stood up for Blake in 5×08 and she and Blake are basically looking at each other.

7. That Grimm in the upper right corner looks interesting. The figure with their face hidden is obviously Cinder.

16. Why can't Volume 6 come out sooner!!!! Rooster Teeth made some interesting decisions with the poster but I like it. I noticed that the volume 6 poster isn't as vibrant compared to the posters of the previous volumes. Is this going to be another Volume 3?! I don't think I could handle the feels if this is volume 3 all over again. Also I don't think that the team should be divided with the whole Ozpin dilemma since they just got back together at the end of Volume 5. We don't we this to become Captain America Civil War.

17. Also notice that…*throws coins* Oscar is looking up towards the sky and has a more of a yellow glow about him maybe showing he has hope and ozpin is looking doesn't while his face is much more pale. Seeming as if he has doubt and is losing hope.

21. When I first saw the silhouette in the top right, I IMMEDIATELY thought of the homunculus Greed from fma brotherhood. Idk, maybe it was the claws? It's late and I need sleep – _-

I think the mystery figure is (and don’t hate me) is Jaune because if you look closely the figure has blond hair and the same hairstyle as Jaune and the cape may be meaning that Salem has done something to him turned him into a monster and brainwashed him to see Ozpin is the true evil and he think his friends and team will get in the way or(I don’t like this one) Jaune willing joins Salem because he hates Ozpin and anyone who works with him that knew about Salem because he starts to think they are the reason Pyrrha died and now he hates Raven for taking his kill because if I was Jaune I’d be pissed angry that someone took my kill because he wanted to avenge Pyrrha and would probably take out his anger on Yang or Qrow because they are related to her and knowing Salem she would have tricked him into thinking that he would have let him kill Cinder but now Jaune wants to kill Raven he wants to kill Qrow he wants to kill Ozpin and probably kill Yang and Ruby because Yang is related to Raven and Qrow but I don’t think he wants to kill her but one kill I know he would have to do is kill Ruby because she has silver eyes but if I am wrong I don’t think it be Cinder because the hairstyle doesn’t match

24. my feelings are it's. uninteresting and doesn't show us anything new thatmight entice viewing. speculation about cinder isn't enough. v5 poster suggested raven vs cinder that this poster lacks anything like that imo

25. For me if they had done the Grimm in the middle and done just Salem’s eyes glowing red with the moon in the background and made team rwby color tones darker match the top the poster to the bottom tho for some odd reason I look my eyes go Toward the Grimm

26. The volume 6 poster looks good but I like the volume 5 poster better though. But we will see what volume 6 brings to the table.

27. …That' Dracula. Why is Dracula poster? The Grimm even looks kind of like a bat. Since when is Dracula in RWBY and why is his bat-form a Grimm?

29. I would like to see blake and ruby team up. wiess and yang got there time i feel ruby and blake really need soem screen time.

30. I think I'd like it more if Weiss and Yang were moved down to be symmetrical with Ruby and Blake. Cinder and the Grimm don't have to be there either. Apart from that I love the whole "renaissance painting" aesthetic they've got going. Also, RIP fish 🙁

31. Random idea – positioning of team RWBY means the side they will be taking in volume 6. Yang and Weiss agree with Oscar while Ruby and Blake are with Ozpin.
    Ruby looks mad because she's unsure if she's doing the right thing, Blake looks like she tries to believe in Ozpin. Yang looks ready to fight and Weiss looks lost in thoughts, she may be thinking where Ozpin will lead them… or about her family, since she's going back to Atlas.

33. I mean who else has Hair like Cinder? XD And Jessica Nigri is quite silent what it comes to VA because she uses to post things about those matters XD

    And posters are not important to me, the rest and the serie itself is XD

35. I'm guessing it all goes to of the Grimm will be very important this volume, even if it's eye candy. Still love the work Einlee put into this!

36. some things that would make it look better, move blake up where the figure is, and move the figure to the centre and leave the scythe out. Maybe move ruby down a bit to the corner and have her look towards Ozpin/Oscar like everyone else.

    if there is a dividing line between RWBY and Ozpin/Oscar then there could be Ruby in the middle with her scythe on her back separating the two.

    Currently it separates Team RWBY especially if the figure is summer that would explain why Blake and Ruby are on one side with the figure and Yang and Weiss are on the other side

37. I want to see what happened when Ruby fought Cinder with her awakened power.

38. it's not cinder. her grim arm was on her left side. unless she came back and got her right arm turned but, who knows

40. What if it's Cinder but not really, technically Cinder was not directly the Fall Maiden the grim that absorbed the power is and now Cinder's technically nothing more than a puppet of the grim inside of her.
